In accordance with Articles 7 (paragraph 6), 10, and 13 (paragraph 2, point 1) of the Law on National Minority Councils, and Articles 20 and 38 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority (CNMNR), the CNMNR Executive Council, on 04.05.2022, publishes the following:

C O M P E T I T I O N

For the financing – co-financing of programs and traditional projects of major importance for the Romanian national minority in the field of culture.

The National Council of the Romanian National Minority will finance – co-finance projects and programs based on the CNMNR Financial Plan in the field of culture, with a total amount of 100,000.00 dinars, for the following areas:

• ORGANIZATION OF ROMANIAN THEATER DAYS 2022.

General Conditions of the Competition

The right to participate in the competition is granted exclusively to cultural and other associations, registered to carry out activities in the field of culture, or other legal forms, which organize cultural events of special interest for the Romanian minority.

Criteria for awarding financial resources:

• The degree of compatibility of the program/project with the competition requirements and documentation;
• The project or program serves the general interest of the Romanian minority in the field of culture, and the applicant has organized the traditional events in question;
• The application must be accompanied by a report on the expenditure of financial resources obtained from CNMNR in 2021 in previous competitions.
• If the applicant applies for the first time, a report on the implementation of at least one program/project financed from other sources must be submitted.
• First-time applicants must also submit a short report on previous activities, performances, etc., not exceeding one A4 page.

The competition application must be submitted using a special form accompanying this competition, which can be found on the CNMNR website www.cnmnr.org.rs or at its headquarters, Vaska Pope St. 16, 26300 Vršac.

The application must obligatorily include:

• A copy of the registration decision of the entity with the competent authority, accompanied by a description of the activity domain;
• General information about the beneficiary of the financial resources;
• A detailed description of the program/project and a detailed financial estimate – description, methods, activity plan, project beneficiaries, implementation period (max. 2 pages);
• Report on the expenditure of financial resources obtained from CNMNR in 2021; if applying for the first time, a report on the implementation of their own program/project.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10.05.2022.

Submitted documentation will not be returned.

• Applications submitted after the deadline, incomplete, or not compliant with competition requirements, sent by email or fax, will not be evaluated.
• Entities that have not justified previously received financial resources will not be considered.
• In accordance with Article 45 of the CNMNR Statute, the Department of Culture will submit proposals for the allocation of financial resources to the Executive Council.
• The Executive Council adopts the allocation decision within 8 days of receiving the proposal. The final decision is adopted at the next CNMNR meeting.
• Based on the CNMNR decision, the CNMNR President concludes a contract with the beneficiary, stipulating the rights and obligations of the parties.
