Pursuant to Article 7, paragraphs 6 and 10, and Article 13, paragraph 2, point 1 of the Law on National Minority Councils, as well as Articles 20 and 38 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority (CNMNR), the Executive Council of CNMNR, on 01.09.2022, publishes the following:
C O M P E T I T I O N
For the financing – co-financing of programs and projects of major importance for the Romanian national minority in the field of culture – traditional events.
CNMNR will finance – co-finance the projects and programs based on the CNMNR Financial Plan in the field of culture – traditional events, with a total amount of 60,000.00 dinars, for the following traditional event:
- Radu Flora Memorial
General Conditions of the Competition
The right to participate in the competition is exclusively granted to cultural and other associations, registered to carry out activities in the field of culture, or other legal entities organizing cultural events of special interest for the Romanian minority.
Funding Criteria
- The degree of compliance of the program/project with the competition requirements and documentation.
- The project/program satisfies the general interest of the Romanian minority in the field of culture, and the applicant has organized the respective traditional events.
- The application must be accompanied by the report on the use of funds received from CNMNR in 2021 for previous competitions.
Submitting the Application
The competition application is submitted using a special form accompanying this competition and can be found on the CNMNR website www.cnmnr.org.rs or at the CNMNR office, Vaska Pope St. 16, 26300 Vršac.
The application must be accompanied by:
- A copy of the registration decision of the applicant at the competent authority, including the description of the activity domain for which the applicant is registered.
- General information about the beneficiary of the funds.
- A detailed description of the program/project and a detailed financial plan – description, methods, implementation, activity plan and types, beneficiaries, period of execution (maximum two pages). May include printed, audio-video, or other attachments.
- The report on the use of funds received from CNMNR in 2021 for previous competitions.
The deadline for submitting applications is 07.09.2022.

Submitted documentation will not be returned. Incomplete applications, late submissions, or applications from entities that have not justified previous funding will not be considered.
Based on the CNMNR decision, the CNMNR President signs a contract with the beneficiary, outlining the rights and obligations of the parties, followed by the transfer of the granted funds.
