According to Articles 7, paragraphs 6, 10, and 13, paragraph 2, point 1 of the Law on National Minority Councils, as well as Articles 20 and 38 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, the Executive Council of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, on 08.08.2023, publishes the following:

C O M P E T I T I O N

For the financing – co-financing of programs and projects of major importance for the Romanian national minority in the field of culture.

The National Council of the Romanian National Minority will finance – co-finance projects and programs based on the CNMNR Financial Plan in the field of culture, with a total value of 500,000.00 dinars, for the following areas:

General Conditions of the Competition:

The right to participate in the competition is exclusively granted to: cultural and other associations registered to carry out activities in the field of culture, and other legal entities demonstrating they have the legal and organizational capacity to organize such events.

Funding Criteria:

The competition application must be submitted using a special form accompanying this competition, available on the CNMNR website www.cnmnr.org.rs or at the CNMNR headquarters, Vaska Pope St. 16, 26300 Vršac.

Mandatory Documents:

The deadline for submitting applications is 10.08.2023.

with reference – cultural competition

Submitted documentation will not be returned. Applications submitted after the deadline, incomplete, non-compliant, sent by email or fax, unsigned, or without a stamp, as well as applications from subjects who have not justified previously obtained financial support, will not be evaluated.

According to Article 45 of the CNMNR Statute, the Department of Culture will submit proposals for fund allocation to the Executive Council. The Executive Council adopts the fund allocation decision within 8 days of receiving the proposal. The final decision is adopted at the next CNMNR meeting.

Based on the CNMNR decision, the President of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority signs a contract with the beneficiary, stipulating the rights and obligations of the parties, followed by the transfer of granted funds.
