Based on Article 15, paragraph 1, point 5 of the Law on National Minority Councils ("Official Gazette of RS", no. 72/2009, 20/2014 – Constitutional Court Decision, 55/2014 and 47/2018), and Art. 2 para. 1 of the Regulation on granting scholarships to primary and high school students, the Executive Council of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, in the telephone meeting held on 14.09.2023, publishes the following CALL for awarding scholarships to primary and high school students.

I. ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Eligible to apply for the student scholarship competition are students from primary schools and the "Borislav Petrov Braca" High School in Vršac and the "Dositej Obradović" Secondary School of Economics and Commerce in Alibunar, who enrolled in the first grade with Romanian as the language of instruction. Scholarships are granted to all enrolled students who meet the conditions stipulated in the Regulation on scholarships for primary and high school students.

II. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Upon registration, the student submits the Certificate issued by the school at the time of first grade enrollment in the Romanian language department, for the 2023/2024 school year.

IV. SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENT

For the 2023/2024 school year, the scholarship will be paid once in the amount of 7,000.00 (seven thousand dinars) to the current account of the parent or legal representative of the student-beneficiary.

V. PROCEDURE

The decision to grant scholarships will be made by the Executive Council of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority based on applications submitted in response to the public call after the application deadline. The scholarship contract is signed by the President of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority with the parent or legal representative of the student on behalf of the student-beneficiary.

VI. FORMS

The registration form for the public call for scholarships for primary and high school students is available on the website of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority www.cnmnr.org.rs. The application is submitted by the parent or legal representative on behalf of the student.
