In accordance with Article 7, paragraphs 6, 10, and 13, paragraph 2, point 1 of the Law on the National Councils of National Minorities, as well as Articles 20 and 38 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, the Executive Board of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, on 04.04.2025, publishes the following:
C O M P E T I T I O N
for the financing – co-financing of programs and projects of major importance to the Romanian national minority in the field of culture.
The National Council of the Romanian National Minority will finance – co-finance projects and programs based on the Financial Plan of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority in the field of culture, with a total value of 100,000.00 dinars, for the following area:
- Organization of the Romanian Theater Days in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina – Republic of Serbia.
General competition conditions:
The right to participate in the competition is granted exclusively to: cultural and other associations registered for carrying out activities in the field of culture, or other legal entities that organize cultural events of special interest to the Romanian minority.
Criteria for granting financial resources:
- The degree of compatibility of the program/project with the competition requirements and documentation.
- The applicant has submitted a report on the use of funds received from CNMNR for 2024.
- Applicants submitting for the first time must also provide a short report on their previous activities, performances, etc., up to one A4 page in length.
- Activities already financed or to be financed from other sources will not be funded.
The competition application must be submitted on a special form accompanying this competition and can be found on the website of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority www.cnmnr.org.rs or at its headquarters, Vaska Pope Street no. 16, 26300 Vršac.
The application must be accompanied by:
- A copy of the registration decision of the entity from the competent institution, including a description of the field of activity for which the entity is registered.
- General information about the beneficiary of the financial resources.
- A detailed description of the program/project and a detailed financial plan – description, methods, implementation procedures, plan and types of activities, project beneficiaries, and implementation period (maximum 2 pages). The description may be accompanied by printed, audio-video, or other supplementary materials related to the project or the applicant.
- The report on the use of funds obtained from CNMNR in 2024, if the applicant has not yet submitted it.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 10, 2025.

The submitted documentation will not be returned.
Applications submitted after the deadline, incomplete, non-compliant, sent by e-mail or fax, unsigned or unstamped, as well as applications from entities that have not accounted for funds previously received from CNMNR, will not be evaluated.
In accordance with Article 45 of the Statute of CNMNR, the Department for Culture will submit to the Executive Board proposals for the allocation of financial resources. The Executive Board shall adopt the decision on allocation within 8 days of receiving the proposal. The final decision shall be adopted at the next session of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority.
Based on the decision of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, the President of CNMNR shall conclude a contract with the beneficiary, specifying the rights and obligations of both parties, after which the approved financial resources will be transferred.
