National Council of the Romanian National Minority

In accordance with Art. 7, para. 6, 10 and 13, para. 2, item 1 of the Law on National Minority Councils, as well as Art. 20 of the Statute of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, on 28.11.2025, publishes the following:

C O M P E T I T I O N

For financing – co-financing programs and projects in the field of culture of major importance for the Romanian national minority.

The National Council of the Romanian National Minority will finance – co-finance projects and programs based on the CNMNR Financial Plan in the field of culture, in the total amount of 400,000.00 dinars, for the following area:

• Organization of the traditional concert of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority – December 2025.

General conditions of the competition:

Eligible to participate in the competition are exclusively: cultural associations and other organizations registered for carrying out activities in the cultural field, or other legal entities that organize cultural events of special importance for the Romanian minority.

Criteria for awarding financial resources:

• The degree of compatibility of the program/project with the requirements of the competition and its documentation.
• The applicant has submitted the report on the use of funds received from CNMNR for the year 2024.
• Subjects submitting applications for the first time must also submit a brief report on their activities to date (maximum one A4 page).

The application must be submitted on a special form accompanying this competition and can be downloaded from the CNMNR website www.cnmnr.org.rs or obtained at its headquarters: Vaska Pope St. no. 16, 26300 Vršac.

The application must be accompanied by the following:

• A copy of the registration decision of the subject issued by the competent institution, including a description of its field of activity.
• General data regarding the beneficiary of the financial resources.
• A detailed description of the program/project and the detailed financial plan – methods, implementation modalities, activity plan and types of activities, beneficiaries, implementation period (max. 2 pages); printed, audio-video or other annexes may be attached.
• The report on the expenditure of financial resources received from CNMNR in 2024, if not already submitted.

The deadline for submitting applications is 05 December 2025.

Submitted documentation will not be returned. Applications submitted after the deadline, incomplete applications, applications not in accordance with the competition requirements, applications sent by e-mail or fax, unsigned or unstamped applications, as well as applications from subjects who have not justified previously awarded funds, will not be evaluated.

Based on the CNMNR decision, the President of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority concludes a contract with the beneficiary, in which the rights and obligations of both parties are specified, followed by the transfer of the approved financial resources.
