Last week, another initiative of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority (CNMNR) took place, aimed at modernizing education in all schools where courses are conducted in Romanian. This time, the action took place at “Mladost” Elementary School and the Teacher Training Faculty – Department in Vršac.
At “Mladost” Elementary School, where Romanian-language classes with elements of national culture are held, representatives of the CNMNR and the Romanian Consulate in Vršac were welcomed by Tatjana Jašin Moise, the school principal, and Dr. Marinică Mozor. During the official handover of the equipment, Tatjana expressed her great pleasure that “Mladost” School received this donation of teaching materials from the CNMNR, highlighting that since 2017, the school has been offering optional Romanian language classes with cultural elements.
The teaching process has evolved over time, and the introduction of the interactive smartboard has brought a small revolution in how knowledge is delivered and applied. It is an excellent tool for maintaining students’ attention and has added a digital dimension to the learning process.
The handover ceremony was also attended by Rodica Almăjan, President of the CNMNR Executive Council and Coordinator of the Education Department, Traian Căcina, Member of the Vršac City Executive Council responsible for Culture, as well as Dr. Marinică Mozor, who teaches the Romanian language courses.
This initiative demonstrates CNMNR’s continued commitment to supporting education in the mother tongue and developing the digital skills of Romanian students in Serbia, contributing to a modern and competitive educational process.
