A Rich Performance with Over 150 Participants

The “Friends’ Concert,” organized by the “3 Octombrie” Cultural Center in Satu Nou as part of the Village Fair, took place on the evening of 2 June in the local Sports Hall. The concert featured all the folk ensembles from the “3 Octombrie” Cultural Center, as well as special guests: SCA “Vichentie Petrovici-Bocăluț” from Torac, the “Assembly of Romanians from Ovcea” Association, and the “Sveti Sava” Youth Cultural-Artistic Society from Nova Pazova.

After the Folk Music Orchestra of the “3 Octombrie” Cultural Center opened the show with a captivating piece, the preschool group took the stage, performing dances specific to children from Serbia. Next, the preparatory ensemble presented traditional Romanian dances from Satu Nou. In the same style, the special guests showcased their talent. The girls’ ensemble from SCA “Vichentie Petrovici-Bocăluț” in Torac performed a suite of authentic Romanian dances.

The “Sveti Sava” Youth Cultural-Artistic Society from Nova Pazova presented dances from Bela Palanka, impressing the audience. Then, the first ensemble from Satu Nou returned to the stage with dances from the Bosilegrasko Krajište region. The children’s ensemble from lower grades continued with dances from Mačva, captivating the spectators.

Guests from Ovcea followed. The girls’ ensemble of the “Assembly of Romanians from Ovcea” performed Romanian dances from Banat. Next, the older children’s ensemble presented dances from Bela Palanka, while the recreational group showcased dances from Niš.

The girls’ ensemble of the “Assembly of Romanians from Ovcea” returned to the stage with another suite of Romanian dances, and the folk ensemble from Nova Pazova presented dances from the surroundings of Bujanovac. The concert concluded with a choreography of dances from Crna Trava, performed by the first ensemble from Satu Nou.
