MINUTES
The electronic meeting of the National Council of the Romanian National Minority, based on Articles 36 and 37 of the Rules of Procedure, was convened by the Council President on 27.12.2020 at 23:18. The materials and invitation were sent via email to all Council members. The invitation specified that documents related to the decisions of the Board of the CPE “Libertatea” Pančevo would be sent later, on 28.12.2020.
The agenda included: Proposed amendments and supplements to the CNMNR Financial Plan for 2020, the list of Executive decisions for confirmation, and minutes from previous meetings (03.10.2020, 26.10.2020, and 15.12.2020).
The agenda of the electronic meeting was as follows:
- Approval of the minutes from the meeting on 03.10.2020
- Approval of the minutes from the telephone meeting on 26.10.2020
- Approval of the minutes from the telephone meeting on 15.12.2020
- Approval of the proposed amendments and supplements to the CNMNR Financial Plan for 2020 (First Revision)
- Confirmation of CNMNR Executive decisions
- Consent for amending and supplementing the Financial Plan of CPE “Libertatea” Pančevo for 2020
- Consent for amending and supplementing the Statute of CPE “Libertatea” Pančevo
- Consent regarding the dismissal and appointment of responsible editors of the journals “Lumina” and “Bucuria copiilor”
The deadline for comments and proposals was set for 29.12.2020 at 14:00, and the voting took place between 29.12.2020 at 16:00 and 30.12.2020 at 16:00.
Following the submission of the Board decisions of CPE “Libertatea” by President Marinel Petrică, all documents were sent to CNMNR members on 28.12.2020 at 12:31, including requests, financial plan decisions, institutional statutes, and editor dismissals/appointments.
Proposals for additions to the agenda were received from CNMNR members, including the dismissal of the president and the election of a new president, documents signed by 12 members.
Voting was conducted among CNMNR members (23 members). The results were as follows:
- Approval of previous meeting minutes – majority FOR and AGAINST votes detailed in the document.
- Approval of amendments and supplements to the CNMNR Financial Plan – 12 FOR, 11 AGAINST.
- Confirmation of CNMNR Executive decisions – 12 FOR, 11 AGAINST.
- Decisions regarding the financial plan and statute of CPE “Libertatea” – 12 FOR, 11 AGAINST.
- Appointment/reinstatement of editors for the journals “Lumina” and “Bucuria copiilor” – 12 FOR, 11 AGAINST.
- Proposals for the dismissal of the president and appointment of Ion Magda – NOT adopted (11 FOR, 12 AGAINST).
At 21:26, the CNMNR president announced the completion of the electronic vote, and the minutes and decisions will be published on the official website cnmnr.org within the legal timeframe.
